What led you to a job at Zipline Interactive?
If you’ve ever read the story of Hansel and Gretel, it was just like that. Bread crumbs and all. But instead of candy, it was popcorn.
Do you believe Al Gore invented the Internet?
A great scientist once said, “Al Gore was so preoccupied with whether or not he could that he didn't stop to think if he should.” I’m pretty sure that was what they were talking about, right?
What is your favorite part of working in digital advertising?
Digital advertising is such a big part of everyone’s lives these days. Being out in the world and seeing what goes into these pieces of society is a really cool aspect I had never considered before.
Outside of digital advertising, what is your dream job?
I could see myself as an old dude selling balloons in a zoo, Carl Fredrickson style. Maybe a professional mall Santa. If anyone has a contact for mall Santas, send me an email.
What is your favorite thing about working at Zipline?
Working at Zipline means that I’m always learning. Working with different clients I have the opportunity to really research and delve into what they do, helping me better solve problems. This process is always introducing me to new information and I find it very exciting. I also get to work alongside some insanely talented people. Whether it’s designers, coders, marketers or salespeople, someone is always working on a cool project. It might be in a field I don’t know a lot about but just seeing a bit of how it happens is a great experience.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
1. Search for batteries to go in my Xbox controller.
2. Design the perfect paper airplane.
3. Train my dog for their inevitable Harlem Globetrotters career.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
One time I worked at a summer camp and got my hair dyed pink.
