What led you to a job at Zipline Interactive?
I graduated from Eastern Washington University with my B.A. in Communication Studies. Ryan offered me an opportunity to put my degree to good use as the Customer Support Specialist here at Zipline.
Do you believe Al Gore invented the Internet?
No, I did.
What is your favorite part of working in digital advertising?
Seeing the incredibly creative ideas and solutions our team comes up with.
Outside of digital advertising, what is your dream job?
My dream job would be to own and run a bed and breakfast in the Spokane area. If my dream ever becomes a reality, I know just who to ask to build my startup website!
What is your favorite thing about working at Zipline?
I love that we partner with businesses from many different industries. It creates variety in our everyday work. I especially enjoy assisting clients who come from Spokane companies that I supported before working at Zipline.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jamie, and our chubby cat. I also devote much of my energy to mentoring middle school students as a co-team leader for Medical Lake WyldLife, which is a division of Young Life. Kayaking, yoga and any food-related activity (can you say “potluck”?) are at the top of my list.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Went on a 14-mile round-trip hike in the Cascade Mountains near Leavenworth. It’s a good thing nobody told me the mileage beforehand or I would’ve missed out on an amazing view of Lake Colchuck.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I love gravy. I’m also an introvert. My zucchini bread is top-notch.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?
Criminal Minds, particularly the first 3 seasons.
Who is your idol?
Ryan Green told me that I’m Zipline’s Kim Possible, she’s a pretty good idol to have.
